285 dually?

Well this is my first post, im fixing to enter the world of diesels. Im going to get a 2nd gen dually soon and im planning on doing a leveling kit, and throw on some 285/75/16 bfg all terrains on the factory rims. I like these tires but im concerned with mileage. What kind of spacers will i need and are there any cheaper good a/t tires to look into? thanks in advance!

cheap tires and dually should never go together... you need 10 plys IMO. E rated I believe... do you tow or haul anything?
285's hmm 245's will go stock so you shouldn't need a lot of spacing, somebody will chime in but it should take anything isane, is 75 series as tall as your going?

A 2" spacer will most likely be needed when towing heavy.

I had 285's on 2nd gen and i had to have a 2inch spacer but i pull pretty heavy so imo i would go atleast 2inch and nothing smaller that way you don't have to trim your lugs and you have a good spacer not a washer.
