Will a 13.5 wide tire fit on a 9 inch wide wheel?

I picked up a set of 35x13.5r20 mickey thompson baja tires off a friend and was wondering if they will fit on my 20x9 inch wheels? Or would it be better to have a 10 inch wide wheel? Right now i have 275/60r20's on there that are pretty much brand new so if i need a wider wheel i already have these up for sale ill take better pics of them on the truck if anyone is interested(they are xd hoss wheels 20x9 with toyo open country a/t 275/60r20 tires). thanks

i figured they would since i had a 12.5 on a 8 wide rim all i noticed was they balloon more and the centers wear down alittle faster, so i assume if i have a 10 inch it would be better.

normally that means that you're running too much air in the tires, should have nothing to do with the width of the wheel. i'm still working on stepping up to bigger wheels and tires so i might be missing something.

Hey couple quick questions:

1 what is everyone running for tire pressure?

2 My tires run alittle on the bottom of the rear fender alittle at full lock if i change the caster will this push the axle forward alittle or enough to clear the fender more?

well that will depend on the backspacing of the rim.. but more then likely they will not rub... and welcome!

from what I'm seeing they should fit if the backspacing is reasonable... what 17x10's do you have (it's not a common size)?
