center hub

ok so i have these wheels on my cummins that are pretty new and the center cap has a problem. three of my four tires caps are lose but make no noise. my back right makes a clicking noise whenever I drive it down the road. its soooo annoying. what do yall think i should do??

I know it might sound cheezy but this what I did before. I took the caps off and wrapped electrical tape around the base of the cap. Just a couple wraps but enough to tighten up the clearance between the cap and the wheel. The tape will also deaden the rattle of metal to metal contact. Another option is to find a rubber O ring that will slip over the cap that you can slide down to the lip at the base. I've had a few wheels in the past with not so tight center caps, and it worked for me.

great idea! ill have to do it then. i jammed some toothpicks and broke off the ends there but they fell out. thanks man:thumbsup

I've done the electrical tape trick myself! Worked like a charm to quiet down those pesky caps!
