Also I've now got about 6k on my tires and they still show no wear at all. I still vote BFG.

Not a lot of moisture down here either, but the 285-75-17 Toyo MT's are my next buy. "E" rated but only a 3195 weight rating. I've ridden in a truck w/35" Toyo MT's and they are indeed pretty quiet.

Hey Skidooman...

How do the KM2's work on and off road for ya? Did goin to 35's kill your mileage? I had a set of the older BFG KM's on a 94' Ford Explorer and I loved em, I can't imagine they would be that loud. I'm thinkin about some 285's for me but I wanna get some input before I buy. I'm with you though, always been happy with BFG, Toyo's way to much money!!

I dont have one complaint either on road or off road with them. Well actually, if you plan on towing anything on any gravel roads, you might invest in some mudflaps because these things throw boulders. I lost a little mileage in town, but on the freeway it stayed about the same, maybe even gained .5mpg. I had 285/70r17 on my truck before I went to 35s and I think they look too small if you have a leveling kit. When I buy another set of tires it will be the BFG for sure.

Between the two choices, Toyo all the way.

Also check out the Cooper STT.
