Backspacing/Offset help.

Hey guys,

So i am going to be getting some new Wheels for my truck, Im going to be getting 17x9 Moto Metal 951 Blacks. and i was looking at them on ebay and the Offset is -12mm and the Backspacing is 4.53. Will that make them stick out quite a bit? Is this right for our trucks. Right now i rub a little on my lower control arm and i was going to go up to 35x12.50s. Truck in sig. Will these be what i am looking for? What is stock backspacing, and i know less will push them out more but i want them to stick out so that i dont rub...

Thanks guys.

Mike

Yes, they will stick out quite a bit, you will be nowhere near the control arms. Stock BS is 6.19" on a 8" wheel. You want 5.5-6" BS with a 8-9" wide wheel.
