Looking at buying a set of new tires. I'm looking for opinions on the Goodyear Silent Armor. Good experiences:thumbsup or Bad experiences. Thanks in advance.

Buddy of mine has a set. Loves them, good in the snow and road noise isn't bad at all :thumbsup. Just rotate on a regular schedule.

I have a set on my Jeep. They run nice and are a lot better in the rain than the original tires were. I've got 35K on them and they have lots left.
:thumbsup

I have a set on my 2005 dully, 235/80/17, I put them on at 35000 miles rotate every 5000 miles and I have 60000 miles on them now and they’re almost bald. They ride great and they are good in the snow but not that great in the mud. I tow a 17000 pound backhoe several times a week and will try different tire next time.

they are a very nice tire, but as everyone has said make sure you rotate on a regular basis and also watch air pressure in them and they should be a great tire and last past 40k miles depending on what kind of wear you put on them.
