just outta curiosity...why are you replacing "new" bfg's?

but my vote is for the bfg a/t's for a daily driver. i ran them on my 350 ford crew cab dually for a while. loved them. got great milage outta them and they got me outta whatever i threw outta them. Good example: had her loaded down to the stops with wood and we were at the back of a relatively sloppy bean field in spots. put her in 4x4 low, went through some soft spots and really didnt slow her down to much. loved the grab and milage i got outta them up to the end.

I'm in the same boat. I'd like to see what people think also as it will probably affect what I get although I really like the copper STT also.

Stick with the BFGs. They have a proven track record for aquiring alot of mileage. I, currently have a set of those OVERPRICED Toyo A/Ts and I will NEVER have them again. 30K and nearly bald. If I wanted that kind of mileage(or lack there of) I would had went with a real tire like a BFG M/T in the first place. Cant vouch for the Toyo M/Ts, but they cant be any better.

Crap!!!!

My experience with Toyo OC MT 35x12.50 20. One of them is d*mn near bald and the others still have 3/8th tread and at 38000 I can't get them to stop vibrating my truck to death "road force wear" is what the dealer called it and they chunked really bad for the first half of the tread. Gravel tears the sh*t out of them when new. And I rotated them every 5k to 8k and had it aligned every 3k. I'm getting a set of Cooper Stts next. Same size, already ordered them through Discount Tire in Hampton, GA. $1378 OTD. Just my opinion.

i was looking at the coopers as well. the thing about the bfgs is they suck in the rain and im contributing them to my bit of wobble at highway speed.

I would take a set of Toyo or Pro Comps over those BFGs anyday.

The Toyo AT and MT are very good tires... we sell hundreds of them.

If you are driving a lot of miles, I would lean towards the Pro Comp Xtreme AT.

Both tires unlike the two posted get GREAT mileage...

have you had them rebalanced lately? Have you checked all your suspension for wear?

You can always have them siped for better wet traction, but I really have never heard of BFG a/t's sucking in the rain?!?!?!

In my experience, a tire "sucking in the rain" is all relative to perception, and my perception says ALL tires over 33 "suck in the rain". Just the nature of the beast. Likewise with the wobble, unless you are running a large wheel(I.E. less sidewall flex).
Just my $.02
