Kumho MT KL71

Has anyone or does anyone have these tires on there truck? They are the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71. They make a 37X13.5R22 that i am interested in. As of right now i am going to go with Toyo Open Country MT unless these tires are comparable. I noticed on Kuhmo's website that they are a "E" load range with 22/32 tread depth. 1/32 more than the Toyo. They claim they also weigh in at about 10 lbs a tire less..

I have heard that they are quieter than the Toyo and ride about the same. One guy i talked to at a shop said he had customers who purchased them and within 15000 to 20000 miles they were shot. Said he has seen 35000 to 40000 out of the Toyo MT's.

So, if anyone on here has these tires or has had these tires, please tell me exactly what you think of them. Thanks

Have you thought about Pro Comp Xtreme T/A's ?
I have a set of 35's and love em. I personaly know a guy who has 70,000 on a set and looks like the will still go another 5k to 10k. I know several others who have over 50k on them also.

Just my 2 cents but I would definatly research more before buying.

OOPS I didn't see that. Are you gonna take this truck off road at all? If so, might want to reconsider the 22" wheels.

No 22s in the Pro Comp TA but Xtreme Mud Terrain have 22s. Dont know anything about Pro Comp, only seen advertisements. As far as the Kumho, they are great tires. Milage is low but u sacrifice for good looks. They only handle 2700lbs per tire. So if u are towing or hauling gotta watch it. The Toyo is rated 3400lbs per tire.
