I put a set of 265/65R17 Kumho KC11 winter tire on my truck in december. I had the chance to test the tire in deep snow, on ice and i told you those tire really DO the job. It was a 10 ply tire like my factory Michelin and the ride was a lot better with the Kumho

Looks good!! One thing you might want to think about is changing them out come springtime and tuck them away for next winter. I'm not sure how those would hold up in the summer months with the softer compound of the winter tire. you might wind up with drag slicks by next fall.

My plan is to buy a set of 7089 Wheel from Pro-Comp with Toyo All Terrain 285/75R17 for the summer , so in winter i will run my new Kumho on my original aluminum wheel. That way i just swap the wheel for the season instead of removing the tire from the wheels We received 30 inch of snow last week so i had a chance to test my new tire again

I am in no way knocking Nitto grapplers because I have never had a set, but what about BF Goodrich A/t's? I have had these on three trucks. Atleast 47,000 on each truck, never rotated the tires on any of them and they have been rock solid. They run a little more money ( I think), but I am sold on them for snow, ice, rian, and mud.:thumbsup
