What is the best air pressue to run with stock tires on a 4x4

I am taking a long trip un-loaded with 2007 CTD 4x4, what would be the Best Ride and MPG combo on the tire air pressure? Right now I am running 54# F and 50# R

me too... i would guess the more air the less rolling resistance since you start to run up on the center of the tire... but what is to much... especially at the expense of the tire...

I checked with the listing on the tires and they are rated at 50#'s. My tire guy says to run 55#F and 50#R unloaded and 60/60 loaded.

I run 55 in the front and 50 in the rear unloaded. I think those are both 5 PSI what is on the label inside the door. Too much air will wear the center out on the tire in a hurry, not to mention ride like a milk wagon..

I run 60 in the front and 40 in the rears as recommended on the door jam of the drivers door it has 2 recommendations one for light load and one for heavy load. I still have the stock OEM tires on, and now have 60k on them will get most likely 70k out of them. I have a 2005 Quad cab Laramie with 5.9 CTD and a G56 4:10 and a Detroit Locker

My tires are rated at 80 # Max pressure. I run full pressure when I pull the trailer and 70F/ 65 R when it is just the 4-wheeler in the back.
Weight of my truck is 7640 with 2 people and truck box in the back.
