Question Why are the H2/3 wheels such a hot ticket for CTD's??

Why are they so popular? Isnt it kinda odd drivin a Dodge with wheels that say HUMMER on them? What is the appeal? Not trying to be rude, just really curious...

The wider rim allows you to run the 315/70/17 tire without buldging problems.

All of the above and I got 5 of them w/ tires on them w/ 2500 miles for $500 bux($1200 worth of tires alone). Not a bad alternative to custom wheels, I won't keep them on forever but they work for now. That and they don't look that bad on there.................

they only say hummer on the hub cap. most guys don't use those caps they use GM hubcaps for the 2500's. THere a pretty good looking rim thou.

So, do those hubcaps just fit perfectly? If so, I might be in the market for a set of chrome H2 wheels, those look good!

You can find them for a dime a dozen on Ebay. Wheels alone or wheels and tires, seems like everyone who buys a H2 takes them of and replaces them with some fugly 20+ inch rims and low profile tires. Good thing for us though. I'm not a fan of the BFG ATs, but for the prices they go for off a H2 I can buy a set or two for the cost of my ProComp ATs or MTs.

I have another question like Mavrik4x4 had about the hubcaps, also are the a direct bolt on? I thought i had read that something had to be done to them to fit 3rd gen's. If so about how much does it cost to have them machined?
