I really want to paint the inset part of my factory wheels and figured someone has already done it. leave the Chrome flat part chrome but paint the inset part with the matt finish, black. Anyone done it or seen it
? I have spent the last 3 hours looking for it on the searches,and All I see is painted ALL BLACK. Looking for a pic of 2 tone if you can post one!

OMG!!! i had this idea a couple weeks ago. was gonna tackle the job till i sized up how much tapeing there would be and said to hell with it. think itd lok cool but it jus wasnt worth the work for me on 17's.
we cant be the only ones..... is everyone so lazy they have to paint the entire wheel black? Pictures anyone???
It does look like a lot of tape but might have a Rock Star kind of look.....

Looks like I might have to. I have been flooded with BLACK wheels. I started to tape off one wheel the other night and didn't make it to far. Wht a PITA! Maybe thats why nobody has done it yet...... I'll have to be the First one to post pics I guess when I'm done......

. thats wat i did. i started with some black electrical tape so i could tell wat itd look like. yea, that lasted about 5 min and barly any progress, thats when i stoped. lol
