Yeah, you're not going to find any tire in that size unless you go with one of SuperSwamper's skinny mud tires.
35's usually come in 12.5" wide.
You are VERY limited, having 16" rims, and your only option for 35's will be 315/75/16 which is a pretty standard size for most tires that will fit 16" rims.
Unfortunately, we 16" rim people are very limited in our options.
There are 305/75/16's, which are like a 34-ish" tire.
305mm is 12"w tire
295 is 11.5"w tire
285 is 11".
So you're looking for a 275/90/16 (10.5"x34.9"x16) which is a size that does not exist in nature.
Even a 35x11x16 is non-existent (285/85/16).
I got that like this:
- 275mm = 10.5"W.
- 90% of 10.5" = 9.45" (sidewall height)
- multiply sidewall height by 2, you get 18.9" + 16" rim = 34.9" tall.
Just go to tire websites and look. You'll see that 16" is a hard size.
15" is even better since there are a lot of crawlers using them.
---- edit ----
Even if you could find these tires, they would never support the weight of a 3/4 diesel truck + intended load... and still be safe and rigid.
I think I may try these 35x10.5x16 that they make.
They seem to be the only ones I could find.
I'm very surprised to find any. And they're either Load D or E (3400Lb each)!!
Those look pretty sweet, i wonder how they would stand up on highway. I ended up going with a 35" dunlop rover max traction 315/75/16 should have them on next week and also got a new sb3600 clutch on the way.
