wheel backspacing question
i am have purchases a brand new set of 5 315/75/16 toyo open country MT's. i plan to run them with just leveling springs, what size wheel do i want for zero-minimal rubbage, 8 or 10 inch, i think ideally a 9 would be perfect, but i never see 16x9" wheels, only 17's. i would rather have the look and tire wear of 10". what backspacing will i want for minimal rubbing?

I would go with the 8", It's not bad at all on a 315/35" tire and is definitely the option that will have the least rubbing issues

You can run either size wheel (8 or 10") as long as you have the right backspacing for each wheel (or positive offset). Try to find something close to the stock specs for your truck, with a little less backspacing to account for the wider tires (sorry, I don't know the specs on a 2nd gen wheel).
