Best size and brand tire for towing..

We do a lot of heavy towing with our 4x4 megacab dually... Is it best to just stay with the stock tire size? And what's the best tire for the money, preferebly 150-200 bucks a piece? I just noticed that this truck has 235-80-17 tires and our 2wd 2500 has 265-70-17s... Why is this?

Personaly for towing I love the stock Michelin LTX (I think thats what they are called). 265/70R17 I think. Great tires! Otherwise Toyo MT/s are great. Procomps SUCK straight out and clear and stay away from them, or if you buy them, get a road hazard warranty.

We just got Firestone 235-80-17s again, but I know from our 2500... the 265-70-17 Michellins hold up GREAT for burnouts haha

Always best to stay with the stock tire size (although many of us don't).

Your dually has a different tire size because there are two side by side. Therefore, the tires are skinnier than the ones you have on your SRW.
