Need Real/ Honest Tire Advice

Thanks Gents and Ladies too
It's that time as my stocker Tires have 72K on the with prolly enough to get me thru the winter.

But I need to know a few things. I do not tow That heavy very Often at all and want to know if there would be a big difference between D and E rated tires on my rig. I am looking at Khumo Tires in 315/70/17 and would also like to know if these would pose any control arm rubbing issues at Lock.
I spoke to a guy who had them on his ford and he said he loved them.

Will the D Rated tires roll on the side walls more so than the E's and if any one knows, what shoild I expect out of them for Total Milage wear.
I realize I may lose a MPG or so but have heard some pick up a MPG or so too.

Any thoughts and any one have Pics of 315's on a 07?

Thanks Guys and as always. This is the #1 source of my Resarch projects.

D rated tires will wear more on the front of our trucks with the added weight. I have a picture of my 04 with 315's if you want to see that. my 35's rub just a bit on the control arms with just the leveling kit. My opinion is try to stay away from the D rated tire on 3/4ton and up trucks.

You wont have any problems running 8 ply, the 8 ply 315-70-17 has the same max load rating of the 10 ply 265-70-17 that probably came on your truck. depending on what Kumho tire you are wanting you can go with the 35-12.50-17 it is a 10 ply and only .2" taller than the 315-70-17

Well I did it. Made the leap of faith and pot committed and just purchased 4, 285/75r17's from order direct.
1068$ with Shipping. this should fill the space a whole lot better and there even 10 ply so I dont have to worry would the 8 ply be just as good. Im satisfied thus far. Lets just wait till I get them On.
Nitto DuraGrapplers. All I clould read was good reviews so i am feeling pretty good about this purchase so far,, just dont like seeing my money go "POOFH"
Once they come in and I get them mounted up I'll post some pics.

OH The guy at Belle Tire here in ann Arbor (Wont mention where,,,, "Jackson Road) quoted me, get this,,, $69 Per tire to strip and mount.. My next response was your out of your $%#$$#& mind. got my local down by where I live will do it for $18 per tire.
