Claws VS. ATZ's
Down to two. lets here your vote. size will be 33-12.50/16 conditions- 60% road driving 10% mud/dirt 10% ice/snow 20% sled pullin

I am debating between the two also. Are you looking at MTZ or claws? The claws are for off road sled pulling only in my opinion. My buddy wore his out in 15K miles! The following comparison is for ATZ vs MTZ not claws. I am 90% sure I am getting the ATZs. My use of the tires is about the same as you. The MT would be better for sled pulling put not worth the extra money, noise and short life. Plus, I think all the MTZ are D rated and the ATZ are E rated- in the 33in size. I pull 15 times a yr but I put 18K+ miles on per yr. I can get 33 12.5 R17 mounted balanced and tax for $840. For me the ATZ are the best deal all around. Plus, the MT will wear faster on the highway so they become less effective for pulling the more you drive them on road.

Ive had the baja claws before and loved them. But Ive been told that a all terrain tire is your best bet for pullin. the claws look great. but I think Im gonna go with the atz's as well...your on a 17 where as I am on the 16. theres like a half inch difference in width between the two. where can you get atz's for that price?????? give me there number. cheapest ive found is like 254 a tire.

I can't sleep thinking about the ATZs I want! Does anybody have pictures of a stock 265 next to a 305/65/R17? Any installed pictures? I am curious to see how much they stick out? The 305 only come with the black side walls correct? Any pictures of mickeys with OWL?

i have 305/70/16 ATZ's. love them.... ride awsome and wear great.. have prolly 20,000 miles on them and they arent half tread yet... they are a mud terrian by anymeans but i havent had the least bit of trouble in the mud. just make sure you rotate them every 3-5 thousand miles. i paid 240 a piece for them.
