Nitto Trail Grappler vs Cooper STT

As the title reads, I'm looking at both.

Size 35x12.50r20 I found the nitto's for $1229 and the coopers for $1459, I thought the nittos were a better tire, but I could be wrong. Just wondering your guys experiance before I order these thanks.

Cooper STT

I liked my Cooper STTs so much I bought them for two trucks, and I've only ever done that with one other tire, and that was a Super Swamper. I'm going to try the Toyo next time, and I've got a feeling I'll go back to the STT. After how bad my mud grapplers have been I wouldnt buy another nitto tire. Ever.

ran the STTs in a smaller size. They were a great tire. Low road noise and good tread life. They pull really hard in the mud. Very comparable to the Toyo MTs I have now.

The Nittos are E rated and are maybe 3# lighter than the Toyos of the same size, otherwards beefy. They should balance up without much lead too. I wish they'd consider a 285-75-17 size, but the forecast isn't predicting it.

I've had the Trail Grapplers for over 2000 miles now. I still love this tire. Have had them in rain, snow and ice. Handled well in all conditions. My past three sets of tires are Nitto Terra's. The Trail Grapplers are quiet and I hope to get 40k plus on them. The stt were my other option as well but went with the Trails for the price. I don't think you can go wrong with either and they both are great tires!

I've got the STT's 295/75 R17 love them so far, had them on for just over 20k. wearing VERY well, I rotate every 5k run the fronts at 60psi and the rears at 45psi. Been in the mud, sand, snow, and rain. have no complaints cept for the price... i'm interested in the trail grapplers for my next tire, want a few more people to run them... hit me up if you have any questions.

We just had about 12 inches of snow this past week and I think they did great. But that being said they are a MT and AT would work best in snowy conditions. I have not towed with them yet, soon as we get some more snow in the mountains I will be towing a three place trailer for the sleds. They are E rated and I have no signs of wear yet (2k on the tires).
