Hotrod a... if you are worried about them wearing out to fast buy a tire with a mileage warranty and follow the warranty recommendations. There are plenty of good tires out there, I just went with something new, looks killer and so far has done great. Good luck!

Thanks guys for all the responses! I'm going to try the trail grapplers, looks like they havent really been out long enough to really test them compared to the Cooper STT. But I'll post pics and all when I get my rims and tires in, still have to order tires and I'll let you know the best price I find.

Thanks again!!!

Let us know how they work out for you, I'm interersted in knowing if their other tires are any better than these mud grapplers.

The mud grapplers were kind of a flop for Nitto. They are to noisy and don't last. I think you would be more than please with the Trail Grappler's.

The Trail Grapplers are quiet and I hope to get 40k plus on them. The stt were my other option as well but went with the Trails for the price. I don't think you can go wrong with either and they both are great tires!
Glad you like them my set got dropped off at the tire shop this afternoon gonna get them put on monday. I have owned several sets of terras and I have only had one set let me down and they had bout 40k on them when I cut a 3 inch gash in the side wall while driving on a ridge on my farm

I talked to Travis from discount tire direct, really awesome guy, gave me information I wanted, not just trying to sell me tires! He referred me to a local store near my area for added benefits. Out the door price $1372.00, that includes mounting and balance, which is a hell of a deal! Free rotations, balancing, and flat repair for the life of tires aswell as prorated rates if tires are non-repairable.

I did find them on ebay cheaper, $1229.00 but for all the added benefits it was worth it. I even had a buddy who owns a 4x4 shop and could only get it down to $1308 for tires only.

Since I'm moving from Ohio to Minnesota this plays into effect even more that my benefits will still be good! I've bought from Discount tire before and this just adds that I will be doing business again.

Tires should be at Discount tire on Wednesday and my rims should be in around that time aswell. I should have pictures up this coming weekend! Thanks guys, hope this helps!
