Can you fit a 16" wheel on a new 6.7 truck?
I'm looking at buying a 6.7 truck, and I have some 38.5" mickey thompson baja claws that I was gonna use on the excursion that I decided to sell/trade for a cummins truck. They are made for 16" wheels and I'm just wondering if I can save these things for when I lift the ram or am I gonna have to sell these things? ![]() ![]() If not what year did they switch over to 17"? Yeah, I'm sure you can fit a 16 inch wheel on. I am thinking 03 is when they went to the 17, could be wrong tho, I think it's somewhere in there though. Mike

Agreed. I tried to put a 16" duramax rim on my truck for a spare for a few days one time...no dice.

Oh yea, I forgot that little piece called the brake, there is hardly any room in between my brakes and my wheels and they are 17's... Sorry and thanks for correcting me guys, Mike
