Tires for 8" lift

I can't find a strait answer on this, can you clear 38x15.50's with a 8" lift? 20x10 rims with 5.2" BS. By measuring with current tires it sure seems like they'd clear. My front valance would be close but that doesn't matter, I am mostly concerned about the fender and on fender flares? Got the bushwacker pocket styles.

Current tires are 36x13.50 irok bias (just temporary borrowing them) anyways, i'm not sure on the rim width or BS, but they stick out a good 3" past my pocket flares. They do not rub anywhere with my 6" lift, although they are close to hitting the fender when turning. The baja claws are only 1" wider and 2" higher with actual sizes.

Any pics would be great.

prob gonna be a tight fit...37x13.5 are the prefered for 8" i believe...but, guys have fit 40's under 6" so hey, i think you'll be good and it should look pretty legit. i like when tires fill the gaps

Yea I had 37x12.50 for a while on my 6" lift, only rubbed control arms because it was on stock rims, tons of clearance everywere else. Can't see going up another 2" to run the same size tires.

The iroks I have right now are a really big 36x13.50, and they barely rub, I don't think 38x15.50 would be any worse with another 2"?

Should I get another 1" spacer for the front for a bit of extra clearance? Everything else i'm getting will allow for it.
