Question Custom Wheels w/ close to stock offset

Can anyone lead me to wheels that are closer to stock wheel offset numbers - looking for 17" rims for stock BFGs so I can run my stock wheels with my snows in the winter. Bought Moto Metals with a +18 offset but not real pleased with the fit. Thanks in advance for the help.

What dont you like about the fit?

KMC makes a good wheel and you can see all their specs here.

Wheel Pros

You can also go the route I did and get Walker Evans wheels cut to your desired BS. They are expensive and very "offroad" looking so that might not be the look you're going for.

Walker Evans Racing

Stock wheels are a 17x8 with a 6.2" BS and a +43mm offset. So you'll want something as close to that as possible.

You might want to check the classifieds on here or craigslist for another set of stockers. They can be found for real cheap and they are a strong, light weight forged wheel.

It might be because they are not hub-centric like the stock wheels - they seem to just "hang on" I'm not big on the look of "beyond the fender" for a stock truck.

Centerline offers forged aluminum 17 x 8.5 with 6" bs in the overstock section of their website. Someone is always selling stockers in the classifieds and occasionaly Craigslist.

What Moto Metal rims do you have? I would really like to see pics of these on your truck.

nfd538, I haven't mounted them yet as I just received them and when I test mounted one before I opened the others I wasn't sure I was happy (although it will cost a $ 100 to send them back). Just not sure what I want to do (too late now huh). They are nice looking wheels (956) I just have not ever mounted something so far from stock on my other vehicles.

+18mm offset is close to stock how are you upset with the look? You looking for a wheel that sticks out more?
