AT's for in the Snow and Ice
Bout' that time of the year and I need new tires. I have been looking at ATs more specifically, Nitto Terra Grapplers, BFG ATs, and Toyo ATs. Though I am open to more suggestions. Any thoughts on which will do the best in the snow. I do a little bit of off road but the truck will mostly be highway driven in snow, ice and slush. Thanks

A/T's
I have had all brands of tires and have had Nitto terras for about 32k and our the best a/t I have owned. Great on snow and ice, best wet road tire I have ever owned.I have 32k on them now and probably about 5k to 10k left.

I am running the bfg's on my truck, so far i love them and have about 10 thousand k on them with hardly any noticable wear, they still seems to have square treads. Anyways with the stockers i could spin them with ease on wet pavement and gravel, but now it takes a lot more to break them loose which is really nice when corning harder then i should in the rain. Nice and quiet on the pavement. If they last a few more years i would give them a five. oh and white sidewalls look trick... if ur into it

All the models listed in the OP are great options. I would also take a close look at the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac. This A/T model is geared for snow traction and carries the mountain snowflake symbol for sever snow conditions.

The BFG AT's are the default imo. If you want to try something new, the duratracs look they should be a superb snow/ice tire, by looks they should be much better than the BFG's. Jason

Nitto Terra Grappler FTW Or the General Grabber A/T2s, I use these for plowing and they work great.

Thanks for the input guys, I am leaning towards the Nittos, but I found a good price on some BFG's so will see. I have to look into the others mentioned.

What size are you looking at? If your running stock skinnies, id suggest Toyo M55's. Hard to find a harder working tire that usually wears like iron. Jason
