I have a 2nd gen truck, and I just bought 295/70/17s terra grapplers with MT classic II 17x9 wheels with 5" backspace. I think its all about the offset and backspace. I'm going to give it a shot with no lift or leveling kit.

33X12.50 will not rub on an 06 with stock rims..... BUT my 12.50 MTZ were a pain in the butt to get seated on stock rims cause the bead on the tire always got rolled under because of the rim protector. But they did finnally go on.

I'm running 285's now on the stock aluminum rims, they are not quite as big as 33's but very close. I had 305/55/20's (basically 33x12.50) before and they fit with no rub on stock everything. Traded them away since.

Don't see at all why they would not, like previously mentioned it depends on the backspacing or offset. You should already have 17" wheels on your truck now, do you just want to keep the 17 inch size and get better looking wheels?

No way.the 10 inch wheel will be a problem with rubbing. With the stock wheel you can run 35's.just kisses the control arms at full lock.

Hmmm...yes way. My buddy's 03 3500 has 35" MTZ's that don't rub anything at full lock.

Another friend has a leveled 2500 with 35" ATZ's on 20x10's that do not rub anything.

Well he has a few times one our land down south, back when he had Mud Grapplers. Here's a video of his truck as he was being pulled out of a very soft yard a couple weeks ago, with new MTZ's.....

Video - This is my buddy's ram, stuck to the frame&axles in a family member's back yard which was rain-soaked and about as soft as a pillow walking on it. He had pulled out a Hemi, then got stuck trying to pull out a stuck 70's F250. This is him gett
