What Tires do you like
Well it's about time to get new tires. I have had 3 sets of Toyo Open Country MT. The first sets 37x13.50R20. The last set 37x13.50R22, on new MKW M19 rims. I average around 35k miles on them per set. I was looking at Kumho Mt's in this same size. Anybody have an opinion on them? Or tell me how they wear. I tow 10k everyday and am very bad about rotating. The Toyo's are really quiet for a Mud Terrain, how are the Kumhos? Anyone else have a good tire that will be 37's on a 22 in rim? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks Ryan

You will be dissapointed with the Kumhos on your rig especially while towing. They look great but, they just don't last. We are not selling them at the shop anymore because of how quickly they wear out. LT.

On my 2nd set of BFGoodrich AT Revo. Made over 42,000 on the first set and a little over 36000 on the stock Michelins.

go with the cooper discoverer stt, had a set on mine, sometimes i forgot to rotate, but i got 52000 out of them, and they are rated for 50000 (540 treadwear), they are also an armor-tek tire, hold up good against resistance and punctures, mine always wore evenly, never had a flat, and never did i loose an ounce of air pressure....

I DO NOT like my Nitto Dura Grapplers. The sidewall flex is outrageous!

Plus they dont last long...19k towing and regular use it was all worn down. They dont grip at all in snow. Had to use 4x4 just to get my truck to move. Had them on my 01 and 03, both sucked!

I was afraid of that. I read the reviews and it seemed that most people got 50k out of a set and some got 20k. I took the chance and bought them. When they showed up at the house I felt that they were softer than any M/T I've ever owned (including my 39.5" TSL's). I was assured by Discount Tire that they would last a long time...but I just don't see it on this heavy truck. Oh well, ya live ya learn...$810 down the drain. Time to start saving for another set...

I plan to get some Cooper ST's next time. I hear they last quite a long time with our heavy trucks.

My biggest problem is finding good e-rated tires for 22in rims. I love the toyos But would like to see the advantages of something else. Good to hear what lasts while towing, as my truck tows everyday, and alot of it in the mud. The M-16's look good. anybody know where to get a good price?

I would stick with the Toyo M/T or go with a Mickey Thompson ATZ or MTZ. As you already know, I ran about every set of tire and keep going back and forth. I like the Toyo M/T and ATZ's,
