White letter Tire Help

I always run 305/70/17 E nitto terragrapplers and I love them. But I would really like to run a white letter tire. Does anyone know of a tire that is somewhat like the Terragrappler?

the closest thing i know of that comes in a white letter would be the Handkook Dynapro ATM, just came out a couple months ago, seems to be pretty popular around my shop anyway.

still kinda early to see what kinda miles they will get out of them but a co-worker of mine put them on his truck, say they ride alot smoother and quieter then the BFG TA KOs(another awesome tire imo) and they preform very well off road from what customers tell me, i will be considering these also when i get new tires.

iirc they have a 50k mile warrenty

ah, i guess they dont, could try and fit a 315, no idea if that would work or not if you dont mind upsizing, or a 285 if you dont mind downsizing.

or just deal with the blackwall, i like it better just becuz its easier to keep clean, iv been told the blackwall can make the tire look bigger but im not sure about that one

so im assuming you haul alot of weight often?

honestly if you arent hauling anything really heavy at least once a month an "E" tire isnt needed and 8ply tire will do the job of light-medium hauling with no problems, although i was reading a little while ago about someone getting a ticket for not having "E"s on there truck, dont know how common that is in your area but the cops around here are too lazy to check your load range.

really up to you what you want to do. the nitto is a great tire but there are a ton out there so im sure there is more that are kinda similar with a white lettering and comes in an "E"

They do make paint sticks for fixing white letter tires. Could try it to see how it works if you like those tires. Cheap enough to try.

i have Firestone Destination A/T's in 315/70R17, they are white letter out, but, D rated, i think you could get the M/T version in E maybe.......

here's a pic.......

they are damn good for an A/T, and, i'm sure the M/T is even better.....

they work great if you never leave pavement, and dont mind the white fading to yellow. I tried it on my bike thats how I know it fades to yellow.
