I think you're gonna want a 285/75R17. About 34" tall and 11.5" wide I think most run slightly smaller though. The Nitto duragrappler's in that size say 33.86" tall and 11.61" wide. And the big clincher for me is they are rated for 3970lbs. @ 80psi I've been dying to put this size on my DMAX but.......I'm broke

I've seen those duragrapplers in that size in somebody's sig on here. I was gonna ask him what he thought of them, but never got around to it.

Edit: Looks like the Toyo AT's have the same ratings and specs as those dura grapplers

A 285/75R17 is a lot smaller 33.5" and prolly about 10.2" wide. I have 315/70R17 MT baja atz and the are almost 34" tall and 11" wide on the stock rim with 60lbs of air.

Just tellin' him what the specs say. As an aside the 315/70R17 BFG AT's on my factory wheels measure out to more like 33.9"X11.8. We have the same size tire, but they ain't the same size

Narrow tires are better in the snow and are the best for efficiency, if you go on the snow plowing forum the 235/85 is considered the ultimate tire. They don't like the big tires because they get stuck with them more often.

You can get a 235/80/17 which will have a slightly larger diameter than the stock 265/75/17 and will be nice and narrow.
