Help with tire size..widest 33 on 20x10???

Hey I could use some help. I am looking at buying a set of 20x10 wheels for my truck and I know I want to run BFG AT's in a 33. But I was wondering what is the widest size I can run on a 20x10 and not have rubbing issues. My truck does not have a lift or leveling kit...

Any info is appreciated. TIA

Caleb I believe it all depends on the offset of the wheel.. My bro's truck has 20x10's with a 305/55/20 and a leveling kit and it rubs when going in reverese and when its cranked the whole way. Not a lot but enough to notice.

Hey, thanks for the help man.

So what size tire do you recommend that I run on a 20x10 wheel with 4.5" backspacing ..

No problem! Are you going to stay away from a leveling kit? What about rubbing?

Yeah I do not have a leveling kit right now...and would prefer not to put one on...

So I guess I need some input on this also.

Can you run 20x10s and 33's without rubbing?

two of my friends with 2nd gens run 33x12.5x16.5 identical wheels, different tires. One had slight rubbing, the other didn't. We can try putting one of my wheels/tires on your truck at the jamboree. 4.5" BS 33x12.5x17s

well, I pulled up the specs on my wheels, mine are only 17x9s, and its actually 4.75" BS, not 4.5" like i thought. I'll ask my friends if they remember the details on their's.

It all depends on tire. I had 20x12's with 305/55/20 and had rubbing because the Nitto Grapplers were squared and flat. Went to a 33x12.50x20 Toyo M/T and no more rubbing. Because the Toyo M/T was rounder on the side.

Try a 305/50/20. 32" tall with 12.8" wide.
