235/85/16's on stock 2wd dually?

My trucks already got 235/85/16's on the front stock 16x6 wheels and 215/85/16's on the rear duallies with stock 16x6 wheels.

Anyone running 235/85/16's on a stock dually axle? I 'think' I might need a 1/2" or 3/4" spacer between the wheels though once the truck gets loaded to keep the sidewalls apart.

The 235's are only 3/4" wider than the 215's and I have 3/4-1" space between the tires right now.

Who makes a good 'between-the-wheel' spacers in 3/4"? Not sure they would fit with lugnuts and I'd rather not have to cut the studs to run a full adapter at 1" or so.

Just looking for options. Thanks

I'm running 285-75-16's on my 2wd dually with 1-1/2 coil spring spacers and I have 2's spacers to go between my duals.

how do those fit on the front? i does not look like i have a lot of room to the lower a-arm as it is now.

which spacers do you have? running the stock 6" wheels? those seem narrow for a 285/75.

They fit fine in the front but I did raise it a inch and a half. I bought a set of apacers off of a member on here. Yes they are 6" wheels and they bulg up a little. I think 265s would probably fit better but I wanted the bigest tire I could.

In '02 didn't the duallys came with bigger tires stock, weren't they 235/85's? I still have the stock tires on my '99 Dually, I thought they were 215's?

01 had 235's stock. If you still have the wheels with four holes they sit closer together then the ones that have more holes.

I am running an '01 dually 4X4 with 235 bfg/at. I have no problems with a big load, with no spacer between the duals.

i run 235-85R16 on my dually and on alot off my customers truck and never have any trouble and thats with out spacers.ps i wouldn't waste the money on spacers unless you go with the 265s or 285s.if you want spacers i can get them.
