245/70 19.5" on 6" rims

I am planning to go with 19.5" wheels on my '08 Mega cab dually - I really like Eagle Alloy's 058 series - they have a clean look and I like the 8 hole pattern. Problem is they are only 6" wide and recommended tire size is 225/70R 19.5, which is about the same overall height as the stock 235/80R 17's. I would like to go with 245/70 (or 75) 19.5's to pick up a little more height. Is this asking for trouble since the tire/rim width ratings don't match? Even a 235/75 would be OK but I don't think anyone makes that size??

Has anyone had any problems deviating from the recommended tire size for a specific rim? More detail above, but difference in my case would be 20 mm wider and 26mm taller sidewall than recommend. Just looking for someone with some first hand experience or advice.

I have had that set up for a few years & haven't had any issues. The only thing I have done was to put a steer tire on the front.

I have 245/70-19.5's on 6" wheels. Not a problem at all. Bought as a package deal from 19.5 Dually Wheels
