Black Trucks only need apply! No offense to the rest

Hey guys and gals. I really need some help picking out some rims for my 05. It's a black quad cab w/ a sport pkg and 6ft bed. I put a KORE leveling kit on it a couple of years ago. I had replaced my wheels last year w/ a set of AR Dale Jr. Cannons. After a few short months the chrome pitted and AR is not warrantying them. DONT buy these rims, they look great but are cheaply made. So anyways I'm in the market for something better. I am definately looking for the tougher look as opposed to the pimped out look. I'm starting to think about going to a black rim, but that may be tough on an all black truck. Some of the rims that have really caught my eye are the XD Badlands (all finishes), XD Hoss (all finishes), XD Diesels (all finishes), Moto Metal 951's (only seen them in chrome) and the RBP 93R (Black w/ Chrome inserts). BTW I already have a set of 35 x 12.5 x18 Toyo Open Country MT's going on the new rims from my cannons. I'm really only interested in seeing them on BLACK 3rd gen trucks similar to mine. No offense to anyonelse, I've seen a lot of trucks in other colors w/ nice rims around here that are more than impressive they just look different when there on a black truck.

Thanks F150 for fixing my pic and the compliments. Kind of a funny user name for this place. The MotoMetal 951 was another rim that made the final cut for me. I started off with around 30 choices and got down to 4. As I looked around at other peoples rigs I got more ideas and the selction got larger again. For me this is some kind of life changing decison even though it shouldn't be. I just hate spending money on something that I'm not sure I'll like. BTW real nice truck!!

Thanks for the posts guys. MJD that is definately the style look I'm going for. I had only seen them installed in chrome and just wasn't sure how'd they look in black. A couple of questions; how's the rubbing (if any), and how brutal are they to keep clean, does the bead lock ring come as part of the wheel? That's a nice beefy look on a beuatiful truck. I miss my 2nd gen!! If it was a diesel I still would have owned it. CMNS2500 I've seen that look before and it's just not for me. Looks good, just not my style. Keep em coming guys. Thanks again

They rub a little on the drivers side plastic...nothing serious. They do get dirty but you mainly see it on the lip. They do not come with the rings but I wouldn't want them anyways. It takes away from the look of the actual wheel and Its just another thing to clean. Thanks for the compliments and I will be happy to answer anymore questions you have.

Mitch your truck looks SICK with them wheels and tires on there. When did you get them on there, I know you didn't have them when I left.

Haha I just got them a couple weeks ago. They changed the whole look of the truck. I love the wide stance and aggressive look! The avatar is just for funnies.

Did you paint of powdercoat your wheels? How is it holding up? Can I get some more pics? Also, were those the polished wheels or the dull aluminum?
