Cooper S/T or BFG AT???
What tire would ya'll reccomend? BFG or the Cooper? Lookin at 35x12.5 r17 cooper and 315/70r17 BFGs. Coopers are cheaper by about 30 bucks, cheapest prices i could find. Another question, are load range E tires really necessary?? i can't find the coopers in an E. Thanks guys!

I've got a friend that runs the STT's on his Dodge.. He's a hot shot driver and that's all he will run on his rig. Says he got 48,000 out of his last set.

i ran cooper s/t's then replaced them with the bfg a/t's. the coopers wore really well and were a quiet tire. i just went with the bfg's because i have ran multiple sets of those and have been extremely happy with them.

Never ran the coopers but have had real good luck with the BFGs when running them. I ran a D rating on the BFG and had no issues, but I pretty much never tow anything either, unless you tow a lot and constantly I don't think E is needed. Even though my Nittos are E's... but whichever lol

coopers are a little more aggresive and better looking but they don't really last any longer than a true m/t tire

I had S/T's on the truck before and they threw the tread off when I was going down the highway. They still had a little life left when they did it too. I also ran a set of D rated BFG's for about 20 thousand miles and then I sold them to Claykann101 with alot of tread left.
