xtreme at tread seperation

any of you have this happen w/ the xtreme at's?

going like 80mph, i heard this loud bang and something flew up over my hood...turns out the tread had seperated and taken the plastic from my bumper with it (that's what flew over the hood)...ripped out the entire fender lining and even tried to take my nerf/step bars with it. I've heard of this happening before with the at's. Anyone else have this problem?

It's a procomp thing. . . . no not really

It's more of a goodyear thing, other than goodyears not many tires are "known" for it, but it will happen from time to time with any tire, especially it it makes hard contact with curbs or rocks, that can tear up the cords and cause incidents like this to happen later down the road.
