toyo open country m/t tread wear?

how hard is the rubber in these tires? i currently have parnelli jones dirt grips and have about 10k miles and they are pretty much bald and i had the nitto mud grapplers before and they were a little better got about 20k out of them but they were dangerously bald and im wanting 37x13.50x20 but the only kind i can find are the toyo open country m/t and wondering if they would last very long. thanks

Just looking at these today on the net, 35x12.50x17's look very nice and have a load range E. Where is the best place to buy them and how many miles should I expect to get out of them driving mostly on the highway without a load? I have BFG AT's and they are going fast on my Ram but used to last forever on my Toyota's. Guess the extra weight kills them quick.

I have 32K on mine. Only rotated them once at 24K. I still have way more tread than the almost new Nitto all terrains I have on my other truck. Lots of towing, jobsite and highway miles on them. Hope this helps.

Where can I buy a set? I always like to get the road hazard but no one local sells them.

A guy in my neighborhood made a roundtrip run from San Diego to Honduras in an '03 3500 CTD with Toyo 35-12.50-17's pulling an 8,000# Toyhauler. He's got 28,000 on them now and they look like he'll get a safe 10,000 more miles out of them. He had them rotated in Central America somewhere, but other than that, zero maintenance. No flats either and he had to reduce the psi to 6# once to get out of a situation.

I love mine. 3rd set for me as well. I get about 35k out of them and only rotate when I remember. I also tow 10k everyday with them.
