Nitto Mud Grappler vs MT Baja Claw
Hey guys Im just looking for your guys' opinions on these two tires. I searched and didnt find any threads on it. Im looking for something thats going to perform very well off road, and a decent tread life. The reviews on both these tires seem to be very controversal. Both have love/hate reviews. One reviewer will say they are the best, the other trash. I will be running 40s on 20s. These will get alot of off road use, mostly in mud but some rocks too. Anyways just looking for any experience and advice you guys have. Thanks! These are the main tires im looking at but if you guys know of something that you think will suit me better let me know! Price isnt too much of an issue, would just like to stay under 600 per tire. |

I had the xtreme terrains on my 2wd 06 1500 chevy 35x12.50x18 aired down at the dunes too about 15lbs I could climb pretty far up the big hills aqnd haul my 6,000lb trailer anywhere without problems. I traded the truck in with 32k miles on the tires with at least another 10k miles left, that's after power brake burnouts in secornd gear a couple times... Road noise I don't know 1,200 watt stereo kept my attention!

One of my buddies hadthe NITTOs on his 06 crew Cab Pchoke and they lasted 30K Im in the same boat as you having trouble deciding between MTs or Mud G. but im looking in the 35inch range. as far as procomps they wear out way to fast in a heavy truck

IROK's are designed for traction,..not mileage...to me...traction is more important...
