Back spacing question

I cannot figure this crap out

What rim would stick out further?

offset -12mm
bs 4.53"

offset +12mm
bs 5.47"

4.53" backspacing by almost an inch.

That's a 9" wide wheel with 5" of backspacing.

THANK YOU!! the rim i wanted is 9" wide and i was worried it would look to narrow. Truck looks good!

Be careful...too low of a BS and negative offsets are more likley to rub the cab as well as cause additional stress on the weak factory ball joints.

I had a set of 20x10 KMCs with a 4.5'' BS and my uppers ball joints were gone at 20k miles.

I was just about to ask if he was going to run a lift or anything.
Are you lifting or staying with smaller tires?

I run an 18x10 now (not sure the backspacing) I want a 20x10 but the ones i like a lot are 20X9... The truck just has a leveling kit
