tire hunt

I have been trying ti find some 285/70 or 75/ 17's at a 10 ply rating and have not had much luck, oh and at a reasonable price. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Take a look at these.

I run their 235/80R17 OTR-S tires. They are great tires, and the price is less than half of a new tire..

Don't believe what people will tell you about retread tires failing. I did a lot of research, and there is no actual evidence that MODERN retreads fail any more often than original castings tires.

** I just noticed they are "D" range only, sorry. ** There must not be any higher load rating for 285's in 17".

I work with semi trailer tires, all recaps. I would definatly not put retreads on the steer tires. To much risk.

I run the treadwright's on an 18". Load range E. No troubles, and I'm not worried. Not sure I would say that about all companies though.

No sir, retreads are not new product they are rebuilt/refurbished product. We only beat delivered prices for new product.
