285's on a dually???

can you put 285's on a dually without any probs? (mega)

Yep, I have 285 70 17's on my dually right now and fixing to go with 35's or even see if I might be able to tuck some 37's under there. I do have a leveling kit though and some wheel spacers so not sure if 285's will work without leveling kit. Check out some of the tires these guys are putting on their trucks in this forum here.... Stock W/ Big Meat!!!

my trucks in the shop now gettin 285/70's in the nitto dura grappler and only did 1/4" spacers

believe me or not i got 74280 miles out of my stock generals ...i ran 22.5" set up for about 1500mi in between but my stock rubber lasted and lasted..i did rotate religiously the 1st of every month which was about 4000 miles

im just askin bc i might be buyin a mega DRW tomorrow and i have the 285's i took of my quad before i sold it. id have to buy 2 more but the mega has a brand new set of 6 pieelli scorpions on it which i could sell

i have a 05 QC and i have 285/70 17 Toyo A/T all the way around it but i am only running 55psi in the rear tires so i had to put a 1/4" wheel spacer on there but if you go with a M/T you have to have 2" wheel spacers. i am going to get a 2" wheel spacer and put it on there just so i have more clearnce betwwen the tire and more the 1/4" to the front. I just put a leveling kit on mine and now the 285s done look right so am and goin to put bigger tire on eventually. Just trying to figure ot wat is the biggest i can go and it i want to go with different tires or stay with the same kind cause i love the ones i have.

You can look at mine with 285 and leveling kit and i and bout to post the pictures without the leveling kit
