Somebody Please Help!!

ok so i went to discount tire and i wanna get a set of rims and tires..my stock height truck will clear 315/70/17 because i had them test fit them.. but i wanted to go with an 18'' rim and alittle smaller tire..but the guy was telling me that i had to find a rim with an offset of like 39 to 55 and most of the xd and procomp wheels have offsets of like -12 or 0. but i finally found a pair of xd hoss's that have a offset of 30. so do yall think that would work with a set of 275/70/18 open country's (33.88'')

any pics would be great
