Goodyear Duratracs

I haven't seen many of these around yet, have they not caught on? I was considering getting a set for my truck either in 265s or 285s but I haven't heard much about em. I like the fact they are E rated and reasonably price, and a little more aggressive than the silent armors I am running now. Am I missing something?

The only thing I have heard was that they kinda have a weak side wall for offroading, but I`m not sure, I wanted to ask a Goodyear rep if that was true.

i sell goodyear tires for a living

the duratracs are made for the guys that spend alot of time in the dirt but still want a quite tire when they arent there

if you want an offroad beast of a tire get the new goodyear mud terrains with kevlar sidewalls.....kevlar is 5 times stronger than steel

Do the Durstracs have the 3 ply side wall like the old MTR?

I just ordered up my set of 10ply 265s. 300kms of gravel to the nearest town. 750 kms of highway after that to reach family. We'll see how they go!

bourht a set of 245's about a month ago for the first 300 miles they wobbled pretty good but after that they are fine. pulling a trailer they sway very slightly. in yhe mud, pastures and other things you find on a ranch they are great. had a set of bfg at only lasted 11,000 miles these duratracs still have the nipples on them after 1,500 miles. verry good tire in my opinion.

I like the tread pattern but after alot of research I decided against them due to the sidewalls having alot of sway. I do not want any part of that! I think I am gonna go with the mickey ATZ's.
