I think I want to powder coat my stockers...

Like the title says,but what are the downsides of doing this.I have'nt checked on prices yet but I figure it's cheaper than buying new black rims.Also how do you paint the factory plastic center cap?Thanks for any advice guys.Later.

You can actually get the center cap powder coated too. I thought they only powder coated metal but the shop I go to says they can do pretty much any material now.
