mpg loss?

approx how much mpg will i lose if i go to 35's from stock. the lift would be the carli starter system.

if you have the 4.10 gears, you'll gain a lil bit on the high way, if you have 3.55's, you'll lose a lil on the hi way, and lose a chit ton in town...

the 35's will bump it up higher(lower number), so, you'll get a lil bit better fuel mileage...

and, these trucks look better w/ 35's anyway...

i have 35x12.50x17's with 3.55's and have gotten 20+ mpg my last 3-4 tanks. i do mostly mixed city/highway driving (with a few rips).

I lost about 2 with 285s but i got 3.55s. just remember your rollining resistance is greater so you will prob. lose mileage.

I switched to 285s and the truck is now a full second slower 0 to 60.

I have exactly that setup and easily lost 3 mpg. More weight =more power/gas to get em movin. Bought Smarty Jr to hope to make up diff. Definitly made up power loss yet to calc to see if made up mpg. Not sure how you gain mpg.
