I could sure use some help!!!

Ok I have a set of mickey thompson classic beadlock wheels. They are 16x8.I currently have some 265/75/16 big o ht tires on my stock wheels.I just put on a 2" leveling kit.I am trying to make up my mind on what size tires to run.I dont want a big tire so I have to regear and stuff.I have been thinking about a 285/75/16,305/70/16 or even a 285/70/16.I want as wide as I can go,but not any bigger than a 33.Any help or pics of you rigs with these size tires would be a big help. Thanks sooooo much.

what gears do you have now? 35's look best w/ a level imho...but seriously, say you get a 33x15.5 (interco makes them), its gonna suck down the gearing as much as say a 35x12.5 will...a 33x13.5 will look ok and keep the gearing somewhat better for ya...

I have 354 gearing (if i remember right)And I was only thinking a tire like 33x12.5 wide. Not 13.5 or 15.5.And 35`s are cool looking, but I am done with all the big tires.I just sold a ford power joke that had 39" tires and a 10" lift.So I am ready to be done with the big lifts and tires(dont get me wrong I still love them, just not practical.),but I cant stand the skinny tires and flat rims that are on it now.Has to be a happy medium.....

I'm runnin 285/75/16's on my first gen with 3.54 gears. I had stock size ties on before these and I didn't notice any loss of power at all. I would say that with a 33" or equivalent you shouldn't have to re gear.

ok. gotcha...33x12.5's will be perfect then...you'll def get back some power but they still make the truck look manly (if you are into that kinda of thing)
