Can someone explain back spacing?
Im trying to figure out what would be the best back spacing for a 1gen? is the higher BS # mean the more the rims stick out?

The lower the number, the farther they stick out. I dont know about a 1st gen, but for example: 3rd gen stock=6.81 bs. H2's=5.71 and many aftermarket rims=4.5. The 4.5 will stick out the futherest.

Backspacing is the distance from the back side of the mounting pad to the back edge of the wheel. This information should help as well. Wheel Offsets
