2005 Dually Tire question

Hey ya'll,
I have a question regaurding tire fitment. I have an 05 DRW and am wanting to go to a 285/70/17. I want 2'' spacers in between the duals, no problem there, but have seen a couple posts where people run a spacer behind. do i need to do that? i have some doubts as to the need, but want some input. Thanks in advance.

Nate
