What size rims and tires do I need?

Hello, I am looking at getting some rims and tires. My truck is bone stock and sits real level without a leveling kit. I would like to get something that is close to stock for rims, I dont want anything that sticks out past the fender much. Rim size doesnt really matter, 17" 18" or 20" is fine. Just need to know what kind of backspacing and offset I need. What is offset anyway?

Next question is what size tires? I plan on going with Toyo M/T, as those have some off the highest load ratings for aggressive looking tires, correct? I dont want 37's, as I saw that thread on stock rims and 37's. That was too big for me. Maybe 33-35" range? Something that doesnt rub at all.

This is mainly a road truck, not much if any off-road, but will be driven in snow, but I may put stockers back on for winters. It will be hauling bumper pull trailers, often, and I maybe getting a 5ver camper for next summer. Thanks for any advice, Bret

The wheels in the pic are 18 x 9.5 with a 4.5" offset, the tires are Toyo's 325-65-18's. This combo will NOT work. Pisses me off too. Offset is key. This set up hits the fender bad. Stay with the factory offset if you just have a 2" Leveling kit.

If you don't mind staying with a 17" rim,Centerline has a bunch of forged aluminum rims in their "overstock" section. Many come with 17 x 8.5 x 6" b.s. which is perfect. A 34" tire would be 285-75-17's from Nitto or Toyo. Both company's offerings come with an "E" rating in AT,MT and (Nitto only) highway tread. Precision rims complemented w/precision manufactured tires in the proper load rating. A 34" tire on a 17" rim is going to give you adequate sidewall, maximizing ride comfort.
