315 BFG's out of round? Cant balance?
Having a lot of trouble with a new set of bfgs. 315 70 17. I've had them on aftermarket wheels and ended up put'n them back on stock dodge alum. the seem to shutter and bounce a little on bumpy roads? anyone else had this problem? I've had them balanced probably 4 times now. rear seems ok front bad. tires arent wearing funny or anything i dont get it. these tires cost way to much for any problems. Anyone running nitto 325's?

That sounds odd to me that it would be the tires. I run the same size on my dually and have yet to have a lick of problems at all. Which of your trucks are you running them on? I looked in your sig and saw three different trucks listed. You may want to check out your ball joints and your track bar for any wear. If any of these parts are worn then the larger tires may make these problems seem worse. LT.

I had some 285-75-16's BFG's that Discount could "zero" out albeit w/10 ozs of lead on one. Dispite the "zero" factor they vibrated from day one.Neither Discount nor BFG would help me,so Toyo did. M-55's of the same size and "E" rating solved the problem.

My thinking was at first it may have been steering issues or ball joints. But i have reciently replaced ball joints, trackbar, and complete steering linkages and all ends. Still does it not as bad but it has a constant vibration. These tires are on my 06 quadcab. its got a leveling kit and kept the factory alloy wheels. i had aftermarket ones on and thought it was the wheels but same with factorys on. i dont know i have had discount rebalance 4 times now and a local place once. every single time they say oh yea one of em was 5 oz off. 1300 bucks for set of junk tires seems like to me. gonna go nittos i think. 325s. anyone run them?

I have had the same issue with a set of cooper st-c's. I have one tire that is slightly out of round and won't balance, I can actually tell were it is on the truck if I rotate the tires. If the shake moves when you rotate your tires I would definitely say you got a bad tire.

Seems like I would be looking up a place that does the shaving to re true them. They will cut them down to make them true round again. I would think that any place capable of siping tires could do it. Don't hold me to it about any place that sipes them would re true a tire. I do know places exist that will true up a tire.
