should i run 37's?

i have an 07 5.9 6 speed with a banks 6 gun (3.73 gears) and a 6 inch superlift. I am currently running 35s. I am toying with the idea of putting 37's on. I am wondering if it is recommended and what the outcome will be regarding power loss and mileage if i go bigger. Thanks

i went from 36 to 37 and i lost about 2 mpg and i could feel the power loss on the top end, like highway cruzing in 6th. also had a little clutch slippage with the chip turned up or pulling the trailer.. my irok 36s measure out about 35'' and i had mud grapps and they measured a little over 37'' and where way heavier. so i think it depends on the tire. ive always heard the toyo m/t's are the 37 of choice smooth running and not as heavy as others... just my 2 cents.

iroks wont get crap for mileage on small 1/4 ton rigs...they are great in the rock and most mud (not the really thick slop)...personally i think they are one of the best, if not the best all around offroad tire....but that's what they are...id keep them in the dirt and use something else on the street...you will get terrible mileage on the street with them

37's are just fine. I have been running them for 4yrs. Toyo's are the best but they cost a little more. I think I may try the Kumho's next time
