Atturo Trail Blade MT Review

My old trail graps were just about worn out so with my income tax I wanted a set of tires. I was running 325/50R22 Nitto Trail Grapplers and was extremely pleased with the all-around performance of the tires. Naturally I was going to go back with the same tires. I called around and searched the web and the cheapest price I could get on that tire was around $1900 (not including shipping). I was going to bite the bullet and order them but come to find out that particular tire is on national backorder and has been since early November with no estimation on availability. My next option was Toyo MTs but they were even higher than the Trail Graps so they were out completely. I looked into Iroks and those were worth a small fortune so they were out as well. In my search I stumbled across the Atturo Trail Blade MT. With the price of these tires I couldnít afford not to research them, but come to find out there arenít really any solid reviews on these tires especially on ĺ ton or bigger trucks. I decided I would buy these tires and keep a solid review, with pictures, on them from start to finish. This is also a way for me to keep track of the life of tires. I got them mounted yesterday and I like them so far. They are a little bit louder than the trail graps but they ride really good. I noticed a little sidewall flex when going around curves which concerns me about pulling a heavy trailer. Iíll keep yall updated and ill post some pictures later.

How r these working out? It's a good looking tire and the price is definitely right for 35x12.50r22.

Warning! We bought a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5" lift a couple months ago. These tires were put on brand new by the dealership we bought it from. They were 35". We drove with the truck from Utah to Arizona to Texas and were heading to Colorado and in Oklahoma City, our front end started wobbling pretty bad. Thought the tires were out of balance. Took it to a shop for balancing. They took off the front driver and couldn't believe what they saw. There was a huge bulge and the tire was separating, ready to blow! Thought that was the issue but took off the passenger front to check it out and it was even worse! These tires literally had 2000-3000 miles total on them! Had to buy a set of four new tires. Went with Nitro Trail Grapplers. Reviews seem good on these so I hope we are safe now! If we hadn't stopped who knows what would have happened! Found out they are made in Thailand and are cheap for a reason!!!!

Sorry for the delay, I've been meaning to give everyone an update but haven't had the chance. I’ve put about 8000 on them so far. They are doing really good and show minimum wear. I rotated them about 3000 ago. They ride good and my truck seems too really like them considering I’m averaging about 18.2 mpg and I was averaging around 15 with the trail graps. The way they go in the mud really surprises me. I’ve out grown my tearing off in a rice field stage but I pulled our stock trailer through a muddy field a couple weeks ago and they really impressed me. It’s starting to warm up here now so we’ll see how they do in the hot Arkansas summer. Now with my complaints, they have a higher pitched wine than I like. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve run through a few sets of mud graps and don’t mind the noise but it’s just a little high pitched. Kind of reminds me of a hankook dynapro MT. I also miss how wide the trail graps were, they were about a 35x13 but seemed to be a lot wider than the atturos. As of now I would not be at all concerned about buying these tires a second time.

Got an update?

Thinking about getting a set, and wondering how they are treating you now?
