How tall can I go????

I've got 285 75 17s on my pickup right now and I'd like to know if I can go taller without lifting or leveling my pickup WITHOUT rubbing??? I like the width alright, definitely don't want anything wider, and could live with them a tic or two skinnier.

Everytime I see a similar truck with taller tires, its always haulin a$$ in the opposite direction.

Any and all commentary is appreciated as I am still learning about my amazing machine by reading about everyone elses amazing machines.

you can run up to a 35" tire stock height assuming you have the correct bs on your wheel...i had 315/70/17's for awhile and it was a good stance...that might be a smidge too wide for you but they sat round 34.5" tall...to me, that's pretty proportional in the height to width category...if you dont mind being a bit wider, id go with some of those

Your at the max that we recommend to keep from rubbing with stock wheels. Remember you need to leave some room for your suspension to flex and you want to keep the tire's width proper for your wheels. Here's a Tire Size Calculator That will help you estimate different tire sizes, for actual tire sizes see the tire manufacturer's web site. (goodyear.com, nittotire.com etc.)

Thanks fella's I appreciate the information and ideas. I was wrong in my first post. I have 285/70 17 on the truck. I am thinking about having a tire around 35" tall and 10.5" wide. I'll keep playing with the tire calculator and figure something out.

Stepping up to a 285/75R17 would give you an extra inch in height and not rub. That would be about a 34" tire.
